Project Overview
This Queenscliff renovation highlights the transformation of an older brick residence into a refined contemporary home tailored for modern family living. Greenwood Consulting Engineers worked alongside the broader design team to support a major reconfiguration of the home, helping unlock a more open internal layout, improved natural light and a stronger connection between the living areas and the outdoors.
sTRUCTURAL RENOVATION AND RECONFIGURATION
A key part of this project was enabling the structural changes required to move the home away from its original enclosed arrangement and toward a more functional open-plan design. Our engineering input supported the modification of the existing structure to allow for larger openings, improved spatial flow and a more cohesive relationship between the retained building elements and the renovated portions of the residence.
